About the Association
Hazara Women Future is a grassroots initiative founded in March 2017 by a group of Bamiyan university students. Its mission was to provide literacy and basic education to rural women in Bamiyan Province, Afghanistan. The association was fully funded through personal and community contributions, with no affiliation to any government or organization.
End of Activities
Unfortunately, the association’s activities were halted in 2021 following the Taliban’s return to power. Despite numerous social and cultural challenges, the program successfully taught over 200 rural women how to read, write, and use basic computer skills during its years of operation.
Our Volunteers
Throughout its work, 12 student volunteers actively participated in teaching and organizing literacy programs. Their dedication and courage made a meaningful impact in empowering women from conservative rural communities.
